Directions
Pass the ribbon through the rings of the wreath frame so that the ribbon is around the second innermost ring. Start pulling the ribbon around it and scrunch it up. Keep going around the wreath and make sure to tightly push up the ribbon so that it stays put and doesnโt unravel. If your roll of ribbon ends, simply pull it through all the way to the end, then start the second roll in the same manner. Once you fill up the wreath, cut off any excess ribbon and tuck in the end.
Figure out where you want the leaves to go. You can place them in any pattern around the wreath. Place a bit of glue on the back of each leaf and attach it directly to the burlap or the wreath frame.
For the sign, first use a ruler to mark three fourths of an inch from each edge. Then draw a straight line on these marks horizontally across the sign. Next, draw a line horizontally through the center of the blank sign. These lines will mark where the letters will be placed.
Using the gold acrylic paint, write whatever you want on the sign like โWelcomeโ, โPumpkin Patchโ, or โAutumn Harvestโ, along the second and third lines drawn. You can also use stencils if you want the letters to be more clean and perfect or you can paint the letters freehand yourself. If you make a mistake, you can wipe it off using a damp towel while the paint is still dry. Once you finish, let it dry completely and add another coat of paint if needed.
Place the sign at the center of your wreath, and open the burlap ribbon to expose the wreath frame at the center. Add glue to the wreath frame directly and press down the cord on your sign to attach it. Finish off by attaching any other leaves that you want to overlap the sign.
Finally, let the wreath dry completely before you hang it up.
