DIY Cat Toys: Cardboard Cat Scratcher

Learn how to make a cat scratcher for your kitty from old recycled boxes.

Tools & Materials:

• 1 Cardboard Box without top

• 1 Large Cardboard Box (Taken Apart) 

• Measuring Tape

• Scissors or Box Cutter

• Glue Gun

Process:

1. Measure the inside length of the cardboard box you will use as a base. Mark the same measurements on the cardboard pieces then cut to size.

2. Place a cardboard piece into the box standing up and mark the height of the box, then cut to the right size. Use the first cardboard piece to trace and cut out more pieces of the same length and width.

3. Glue each piece on their longest side to the base box one at a time. Repeat the process until the box is full.

4. Let dry completely before presenting to your kitty.
