How to Make French Toast | Easy Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Eggs
½ Cup of Heavy Whipping Cream (120ml)
½ Teaspoon of Cinnamon (1.4g)
1 Tablespoon of Honey (15ml)
4 Slices of Bread
Directions:
In a flat, shallow bowl, whisk your 2 eggs together well and add in the heavy whipping cream.
Now add the cinnamon and honey to your mixture. If you have a strong sweet-tooth, go ahead and add a bit more honey if you like. Whisk! Keep whisking until everything is well blended and the cinnamon isn’t in lumps.
For the bread I used Honey Wheat, but you can use any type you prefer. Whole grain, brioche, whatever tickles your taste buds. (Just as a side note, I have found that white sandwich bread is sometimes not as resistant as others, so be careful you don’t tear a hole in it when you soak it.) Soak the slices of bread into your mixture for about 30 seconds on each side. Let them absorb the juices!
Spray a pan or griddle with cooking spray and over medium to low heat, cook the soaked slices of bread. You want a nice golden brown color, so cook them for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
