Materials:
14 in. Foam Wreath Ring
Felt Sheets (3 Soft Pink, 3 Burgundy, 1 Light Beige)
Scissors
Hot glue
Directions:
Mark a felt sheet with a square that is 3 inches long by 3 inches wide. Then cut out the square and use it as a stencil to cut out more squares. To speed up the process, you can also mark the whole sheet of felt with a grid of 3x3 inch squares and cut them out. We will be doing this to only the pink and burgundy felt. The beige felt, on the other hand, we will cut into 2 by 2 inch squares. (Depending on how big you want to make your wreath, you will need a different amount of felt sheets.) In the end you should have 3x3in burgundy and pink squares and 2x2in light beige squares.
Cut along 2 of the pointed sides of each square. The sides should be rounded. Then cut off one of the pointed edges to make a straight edge. The square should now resemble a flower petal. Repeat the process with all of the felt squares.
Apply a bit of glue near the straight edge of each petal. Then fold in the sides so that they align at the center. Press down and hold for a few seconds. Repeat the process with all of the petals.
After the petals have dried, start to attach them to the wreath ring. Start with a petal of one color, then attach next to it a petal of a different color. With this pattern, most of the wreath will be pink and burgundy. The smaller beige petals will be placed between two larger petals and in any place around the wreath since there are fewer of them. For the next row, apply glue only to the bottom half of the petal so that the top half is slightly overlapping the first row. Repeat the process until the whole wreath is covered. Make sure that all of the petals are pointed in one direction and that you cover both the inside and outside of the wreath well so that the foam ring doesnโt show. Finally, let the wreath dry completely before hanging it up.
