These herb potato fries are another one of my go-to recipes when I want to make something quick for a snack or to accompany my lunch. There isn’t really much as to how I came up with this recipe, besides craving fries and having a few herbs and spices in the pantry. This is what makes it so easily customizable. Simply add your favorite herbs, and there you have it! Delicious herb fries to satisfy your cravings!~


  • 3 Potatoes, Washed
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Basil, Dried
  • 1 Teaspoon Parsley, Dried
  • 1 Teaspoon Oregano, Dried
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • Salt, to taste
  1. Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly. Cut each potato into wedges.
  2. In a large pan, using medium to low heat, add olive oil. Add the potatoes to the pan, followed by the basil, parsley, oregano, garlic powder, and ground cumin. Stir the fries until evenly coated with herbs. Cover and cook. Keep turning the fries over during cooking.
  3. Add salt to taste and stir again. Continue to cook until fries are soft on the inside and skins are crisp. Serve warm.
